I am passionate about partnering with people to improve their relationships.
I offer a safe space to explore ways to create more meaningful connections with yourself and those you love. You can expect a strengths-based approach, attunement to rising emotional experiences, and reflection on relationship dynamics to facilitate growth and healing. I value client collaboration and integrate your feedback into the process. I believe the art of therapy is in how research supported tools are implemented: individual personalities, preferences, readiness, and the quality of our connection are elements considered in creating a customized experience for you. When you come to see me, I will listen to you before intervening, seeking to understand the idiosyncrasies of your experience.
My specialty areas include trauma work, couples therapy, attachment work, and existential issues. Although much of my training includes cognitive-behavioral and experiential-based practices, I enjoy bringing contemporary psychoanalytic frameworks into my work to make sense of what may block a person's ability to connect. I believe to make significant changes it is important to pair practical interventions with considerations of the developmental, interpersonal, and neurobiological aspects of issues, within the context of a supportive therapeutic relationship. When indicated I seek to collaborate with a variety of health care providers and incorporate spiritual practices to deliver holistic services.
